Thula Ison, formerly of the Jeremiah/Blackey area, died June 21. Keep her son Lonnie and the rest of the family in prayer. She had been in bad health for a long time and went to live in Indiana and died there. She was a good friend to talk to on the phone. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church at Whitco. Not sure if she will be brought home or if services will be in Indiana. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I saw a picture in the paper last week of a handsome younger Kelsey Day. I knew those eyes but could not place him until I read his name.
Vacation Bible School has been going on at several of the churches and I am sure the kids are having lots of fun. King’s Chapel Church at Whitco will be having its from July 20 to July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Come one, come all. Let’s go to church and have a ball. If anyone needs a ride, transportation will be provided.
Well folks, time for me to get going. Keep someone in prayer this week. Attend the church of your choice. Until next time, keep smiling. Makes people wonder what you are up to.
