Five indicted on bail jumping charges



The Letcher County Grand Jury has indicted five people on separate cases of bail jumping, including a Perry County woman who was charged with escaping from the Letcher County Jail while on medical furlough.

The grand jury says Natasha A Griffie, 26, of 781 Lick Branch Road, Combs, escaped October 28 while on a medical furlough from the county jail after being charged with a felony.

Letcher County Deputy Jailer Mike Enfusse testified in the case.

Others indicted on charges of bail jumping are:

• Lenville Shane Hall — Bail jumping and being a persistent felony offender.

Hall, 33, also known as Linville Shane Hall, Lynville Shane Hall, Linvil Shane Hall, Shane Hall and Shane S. Hall, of 411 Broadway, Salyersville, is charged with failing to appear at Letcher Circuit Court on Oct. 8 in connection with a felony charge.

Letcher Circuit Court Deputy Clerk Sandra Wright testified in the case.

• Bryce Wilson Baker Jr. — Bail jumping and being a persistent felony offender.

Baker, 32, also known as “Bo” Baker, of 352 Pine Creek Rd., Mayking, is charged with failing to appear at Letcher Circuit Court on Oct. 8 in connection with a felony charge.

• Angela Rowe — Bail jumping.

Rowe, 37, of 411 Broadway, Salyersville, is charged with failing to appear at Letcher Circuit Court on Oct. 8 in connection with a felony charge.

• Jason Lee Howard — Bail jumping.

Howard, 32, of 609 Hwy. 7 South, Jeremiah, and 283 Arthur’s Loop, Jeremiah, is charged with failing to appear at Letcher Circuit Court on Oct. 8 in connection with a felony charge.
