Q: Discuss what it is like playing
for Coach Matthews.
A: I love playing for him and
love him as a coach. I think he was
the right guy for the job.
Q: What is your favorite memory playing football for Letcher
Central?
A: When we won the Coal Bowl
sophomore year and hope to do it
again this season.
Q: What was it like to rush for
over 100 yards the first game of
your senior year this past week?
A:. I couldn’t of done it without
my offensive line. They blocked
awesome the whole game.
Q: What is your individual goal
for the season?
A: I would like to average 100
yards a game and get over 1,000
yards for the year.
Q: Discuss playing with the
other seniors on the team?
A: We have played together
forever and are close like a family.

Q: What are your expectations
for the season?
A: To win the district and make
it to state.
Q: What is your favorite memory playing football for Letcher
Central?
A: Winning the Coal Bowl
sophomore year.
Q: How important was it to the
start the season with a victory?
A: It will set the tone for the
whole season and shows how we
need to play every game.
Q: Talk about playing for Coach
Matthews.
A: Good to know we will never
need anything and he will take
care of us no matter what.
Q: Discuss the bond of the
senior class?
A: I have played football with
them my whole life and we are all
like brothers.
