Focus on business

If you have a computer and Internet access, you also have your very own post office right in your home or office — one that’s open 24/7. Just about anything you can do at the post office you can do online at USPS.com.

This year, USPS.com Week is March 23-27 and the Postal Service is celebrating by making sure all its customers know how easy it is to conduct postal business online.

For example — shipping packages. You can order free eco-friendly Priority Mail and Express Mail shipping supplies, print and pay for shipping labels, and request carrier pickup right from USPS.com.

You’ll save money too. When you use Click-N-Ship to pay for postage online, you receive free delivery confirmation and shipping discounts — up to 11 percent off the price you’d pay if you visited your local post office.

But shipping packages is just the beginning. You can file a change of address, request redelivery service or arrange to pick up a mailpiece from your post office, and have your mail held while you’re out of town on business or vacation.

You can look up a ZIP Code, calculate postage, find a nearby post office, rent a post office box, and shop at the Postal Store for stamps, philatelic products and retail items, including gifts based on stamp images.

USPS.com is an extension of our post office and we’re here to help you learn about the website and all it has to offer.
