Mr. A. Frazier Curry, a 1960 graduate of Dunham High School, was recently elected Student Council President at Kentucky State College, Frankfort, Kentucky. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G.V. Curry of Jenkins.
His charming personality has won him many friends of the college as well as throughout the state. He won the election over two other candidates on March 29, 1963.
He is a junior majoring in mathematics. His participation in many curricular and extracurricular activities have been numerous since he has been at KSC. Prior to his election as president of the student council, he has served as editor of the school newspaper, The Thoroughbred, three-year member of the Student Union Board, student council member-at-large, president of the Psychology Club, treasurer of the Junior Class, and Secretary-Treasurer of Mathematics Club. He is also president of the Kentucky Player.
He says he is anxious to serve the college as the President of the Student Council. When asked how he felt after the election, he said, “A dream come true.”
He is a Christian young man, and attends church regularly. He always puts his trust in the Supreme Being.
