Four receive Mountain Heritage scholarships




 

 

The 2017 Mountain Heritage Festival scholarships have been awarded to the following:

Lindsey N. Belcher, a daughter of Jimmy and Sherri Belcher of Jenkins, is a 2017 graduate of Jenkins High School. She will attend Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College in Whitesburg. She plans to become a physical therapist assistant.

Abi gal Barker, the daughter of John Barker and Drenda Cornett Fields of McRoberts, is a 2017 graduate of Letcher County Central High School. She will attend the University of Kentucky majoring in pre-human nutrition.

Emily Baker, the daughter of Josh and Amy Baker of Whitesburg, is a 2017 graduate of Letcher County Central High School. She plans to attend the University of Pikeville, taking general education classes with a major in dentistry as a steppingstone to the dental hygiene program at Big Sandy Community and Technical College.

Cameron Kincer, a daughter of Keith and Georgie Kincer of Neon, is a 2017 graduate of Letcher County Central High School. She will attend Midway University, majoring in special education.
