Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well and all you mothers had a great Mother’s Day.

I had a great one myself. All my sons always see that I do. My son Billy and wife Sandra on their way to their lake house picked me up and took me to Astor’s home and I had a great time with him and his wife Rosemary for the weekend. My other two sons, Rob and Larry, made sure with their flowers, cards and calls that made everything perfect. I really loved and appreciated all of them and their families.

Dorthy Tacket had a great one also. Her daughters, Jeanette Yonts and Charlene Mason, took her to her son’s home. Albert Tacket and his family live in North Carolina. They all had a great time. They are such a close family! Like mine, we love our family!

Bro. John Conn and his wife Alicia spent a few days with their sons at the lake. I’m sure they enjoyed themselves. I haven’t seen them since they got home.

My sister Betty Tyree came out for a visit and we sat out on my deck drinking iced tea and doing a lot of talking. I love company!

I talked to my cousin Ida Hatton. I always love talking to her. We are double first cousins.

Today is Friday and a nice comfortable day with a few showers of rain. My son Astor bought me some tomato plants that already had small tomatoes on them and I planted them. I look forward to watching them grow and then to get to eat them!

I enjoyed getting a call from my sister Joanne Brown in Indiana. I also got a nice visit from my granddaughter Wendy Day and her son Larry Kevin Day and I also appreciated the pretty flowers they brought me.

I just heard that Bro. Earnest

Brock was back in the hospital.

I got a call from Joyce Howard today. She is so good to call me. She is a good sister-in-law and also a very good friend. I appreciate her.

I haven’t heard from my good friend in Florida, Anna Watkins, and also Iva (Absher) Cheatham in Stanford and Bertha (Page) Dye of Prestonsburg, and Claudine (Brown) Sturgill in Ohio. I hope they are all doing well.

There is not much going on here or I’ve not heard about it so I’m stopping rattling.

May God bless all of you. Try to be in church this week if you are able.
