Fred Evans, 82, died Thursday, July 1, at his home at Millstone.
He was the son of the late Arthur Evans and Bellonia Fields Evans and a brother of the late Marie Franks, Charles Evans and Bobby Evans.
Mr. Evans was a meatcutter for more than 50 years. He liked the outdoors, and loved to fish, play horseshoes, and go on picnics.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Annabelle Evans; a daughter, Regina Ann Adams and Troy Adams of Craft’s Colly, Ermine; two sons, Kenneth Edward Evans and Brian Evans, both of Millstone; three grandchildren, Carrie Elizabeth Sturgill and husband Stacy, Jonathan Samuel Adams, and Savannah Faith Adams, all of Craft’s Colly; Ermine; a special great-grandson, Michael Xavier Sturgill of Craft’s Colly Ermine; and special pastors, Conard Profitt and Jabo Miles.
Funeral services July 4 at the Calvary Temple Church Temple Church. Burial was in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
