Freddie Mullins succumbs at 73



Freddie Mullins, 73, of Winchester, Va., died July 11, in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born in Jenkins to the late Hubert and Gertrude Mullins, he was a brother of the late Geraldine Mullins Collins, Sam Mullins, Henry Mullins, Johnny Mack Mullins and Russell Joe Mullins.

He was a great-grandfather of the late Drake Cameron Davis.

He was retired as a truck driver with Loudoun Milk Transportation in Purcellville, Va. after 20 years of service. He had a U.S. Army veteran..

Surviving are his wife, Bertie Wright Mullins; a daughter, Barbara Hawes and husband Daren of Winchester, Va.; four sons, Mike Mullins, Ray Mullins and wife Tracy, all of Winchester, Va., Doug Mullins of Bunker Hill, W.Va., and Roy Mullins and wife Stacy, of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; two sisters, Louise Mullins Stanley of Wise, Va., and Margaret Mullins Bentley of Jenkins; three brothers, Harold Mullins, Emory Mullins and David Mullins, all of Jenkins; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., July 19, at 11 a.m., in Winchester, Va. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
