Freddy Douglas Isaac, 75, of Castalia, Ohio, died Thursday, May 24, at Fireland’s Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio.
Born in Deane to the late Conard and Eveline Powell Isaac, he was a brother of the late Mildred Matney, and a brother-in-law of the late Harold Tackett.
Mr. Isaac was graduated from Fleming-Neon High School, and was employed by Armstrong Air Conditioning, Inc, Bellevue, Ohio, for 38 years.
He was a member of Wayside Temple Church in Castalia, Ohio, Lyme Grange, Zenobia Shrine, the Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, the Car Coddlers Club, and Mighty Mopars of Ohio.
Surviving are his wife Amy Isaac; four daughters, Donna Glover and husband Lowell of Clyde, Oh., Tammie Nowak and Rebecca Isaac, both of Bellevue, Oh., and Margaret Hartman and husband Kevin of Garfield Heights, Oh.; three sisters, Shannon Tackett of Bowling Green, Oh., Peggy King and husband Johnny of Elkton, Va., and Betty Mulkey and husband Mick of Ironton, Oh.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Isaac were held May 29 at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Services in Castalia, Oh. Burial was in Sand Hill Cemetery.
