Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library in Whitesburg will offer free weekly computer class during June.
The topic June 5 is Social Networking for the Novice, and will introduce students to Facebook, Twitter and other social networking venues and teach them to set up their own accounts. On June 19, students will learn to upload and share photos online. These Tuesday classes will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. and will be taught by Mitch Caudill.
On June 12 and June 26, the library staff will assist students who wish to learn basic computer skills from 4 to 5 p.m. The computer lab is located on the first floor of the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library.
The classes are free and open to the public and reservations are required. To make reservations, call 633- 7547.
The classes and equipment are made possible with the BTOP Grant from the federal government award to the library.
