‘Frosty the Snowman’ featured Nov. 15, 16

The Barter Players will stage “Frosty the Snowman” in two locations in November.

The first, presented by Pro-Art Association and the Town of Pennington Gap, will be Saturday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m. at Lee Theatre in Pennington Gap, Va.

A second performance, presented by Pro-Art Association and the C. Bascom Slemp Foundation, will be Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. in J.W. Adams Performing Arts Center at Pound, Va.

A young orphan discovers magic in a stolen hat when he places it on a snowman’s head and that snowman comes to life. But can Frosty the snowman help Billy find his real family in time for Christmas?

Tickets are $ 15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students. Programs are partially supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
