Perry County, City of Hazard, and State of Kentucky officials presented $100,000 in coal severance funds to Hospice of the Bluegrass for the Hospice Freestanding Inpatient Facility, which is being constructed in Hazard. The 20,000 -square-foot facility will have 12 patient rooms with space for visitors and areas for family members to stay overnight. The facility will be the first of its kind for Hospice of the Bluegrass, and a first for southeast Kentucky. Pictured are (left to right) Rep.
