Leonard Boggs, 76, died October 28 at Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg.
Born in Dongola, he was a son of the late Everett and Ollie Gilley Boggs and the widower of Frieda Kay Lark Boggs. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Linville Boggs and Justine Banks.
Mr. Boggs enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and going to Pigeon Forge. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan.
Surviving are a son, Rick Boggs of Whitesburg; two daughters, Michelle Potter and husband Jeff of Jackhorn, and Nikki Collins and husband Wayne of Isom; a brother, Lester Boggs of Seco; a sister, Wilma Jean Day of Columbus, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler, Bucky, Paul, Brooklyn, Jacob, Owen II, and Kane; and three great-grandchildren, Meah, Kanean and Carter.
Funeral services were held October 31 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery at Cowan.
