Funeral services for Jesse Franklin McFall, Sr., 86, were held June 21 at the New Freedom Worship Center in Dunham. Burial was in the Whitaker Cemetery in Seco.
The son of the late Jasper and Bertha McCray McFall, he was born at Dry Fork. He died June 17 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Mr. McFall was the widower of Bonnie Wewoka Stewart McFall. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are eight daughters, Nadine Louise Thomas and husband Gary of Jacksonville, Fla., Bertha Mae Brummett of Jenkins, Mildred Jean Taylor and husband Fred, Elenor Christina Hall and husband Donnie, and Sally Wewoka Yonts, all of Neon, Judy Ann Meeks and husband Del of McRoberts, Delphia Marie Sexton of Isom, and Delana Joan Yonts and husband Andy of Deane; three sons, Johnny McFall and wife Brenda of Jenkins, Jesse Franklin McFall of Payne Gap, and Leland Charles McFall of Neon; 27 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. McFall was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Gibson; a son, Jermie McFall; and several brothers and sisters.
Everidge Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
