Lela June Collier, 81, died October 4.
Born at Bottom Fork to the late Albert and Ella Holbrook Slone, she was the mother of the late William Michael Collier and Tommy Collier.
She was a member of the Seco Pentecostal Church, and was the widow of William “Bill” Collier.
Surviving are seven sons, Steven Wayne Collier and wife Sherry of Pennington Gap, Va., Patrick Randolph Collier and wife Randy, Christopher Duke Collier and wife Debbie, Timmy Collier, Matthew Klabel and Kameron Klabel, all of Kona, and Eugene Collier and wife Christen of Ermine; three daughters, Emily Collier of Berea, and Serenity Collier and Brooklyn Klabel, both of Kona; a brother, Ercel Slone of Bean Station, Tenn.; three sisters, Rendall Slone and Patty Hall, both of Alexandria, Va., and Alberta Slone of Kona; 11 grandchildren, Dane, Mika, Caitlin, Grayson, Tanner, Jaxon, Marli, Emma, Kaylee, Dodge and Case; four grandchildren, Jaci, Addie, Hawthorne, and Elowynne; and special friend, Gail Collins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Collier were held October 7 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
