I am back down south in Georgia to visit family and friends and to do some fishing. As usual we’ve had some good fishing, catching a lot of bass and bluegill.
It’s been very hot with the air temperatures in the high 90’s and the water temperatures in the mid 80’s. We had to do most of our fishing early and late.
Most of our bass fishing has been done using plastic worms, crank baits and spinner baits. These baits seem to work good in the off-colored water. Night fishing seems to work well for the bass as they became more active as the temperatures cool off some.
The bluegill are active and we’ve caught a lot of them on worms. It seems the fishing is always good down in this area and I always look forward to coming down to visit.
