GENEVA ISON
Geneva Ison, 93, of Lexington, died March 29 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
A daughter of the late Willard A. and Mattie Ison Tyler, she was the widow of Harry J. Ison.
She was the mother of the late Donald G. Ison, and a sister of the late Comis Tyler.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Lloyd and husband William of Florida and Lavenia Baxter and husband Anthony of Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Leanna Ison; eight grandchildren, Russell Todd Hall, Adam J. Hannahs, Donald Craig Ison, Jason Daniel Ison, Amanda Alloria Ison, Bethany Nicole Baxter, Natalie Michelle Baxter, and Jennifer Baxter Auerbauch; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ison were held April 2 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Jess Day Cemetery in Whitesburg.
