Girls’ high school volleyball underway at Jenkins, Letcher County Central

The Jenkins High School volleyball team entered play at Shelby Valley last night with a won-loss record of 1-4. After traveling to Buckhorn on September 3, the Lady Cavaliers will host J.I. The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars started the 2021 season with a 1-3 wonloss record before they were forced to forfeit three games because of the KHSAA’s rules governing COVID-19. LCC will be back in action at home on September 7. In the photo at top, Calista Adams fired the ball across the net in a close match with region favorite Knott Central. At bottom, Keira Couch looked to score against KCC.
