Gladys Adams dies at 93

Gladys Marie “Granny” Adams, 93, died December 5 at Payne Gap.

Born in Oakhill, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Jessie Wade and Virgie M. Tisdale Denny and the widow of Joseph Ely Adams. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sereda Jo Adams Boggs; a son, J.E. Adams; and a sister, Vernia May Ramsey.

Surviving are two sons, Randall Adams and John Adams, both of Seco, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
