Goldie Mae Hopkins, 76, died March 4 at Mountain View Hospital in Norton, Va.
A daughter of the late Ed and Flora Wright Rose, she was the widow of Coy Hopkins.
She was the mother of the late Kathy Lee Hopkins, and a sister of the late Judy Garnell, Odus Rose, Wesley Rose and Ray Rose.
Surviving are a son, William Coy Hopkins of Wise, Va.; four daughters, Shelia Hopkins of Pound, Va., Tammy Moore of Jenkins, Angelia Kennedy of Norton, Va., and Bridget Jean Swindall of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren, Travis Moore, Christine Moore, Tori Kennedy, Tasha Hopkins, Erica Mitchell, Jacob Swindall, Aaron Swindall, Caden Lee Hopkins and Braxton Hopkins; six greatgrandchildren, Zachariah White, Summer White, Traistine White, Tony Wyatt, Bentley Hopkins and Cooper Boggs; five sisters, Aloria Cantrell of Maryland, Julie Breeding and Diane Kincer, both of Kentucky, Thelma Jean Deskins of Tennessee, and Karen Church of Alabama; and five brothers, Delmar Rose, Glen Rose, Kirby Rose, Carl Rose, and Jerry Rose, all of Kentucky.
Funeral services were held March 7 at the Payne Gap Freewill Baptist Church.
