Golf tourney set at Sleepy Hollow

The 20th annual Southeast Scholarship Golf Classic will be held Saturday, May 15, at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course at Cumberland. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a putting contest. The four-person scramble format competition will start at 9 a.m.

All proceeds from the event go toward scholarships to aid students at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. The Southeast Education Foundation Inc. runs the contest.

There is a $75 fee to participate or $300 per team, which is tax deductible, and the fee includes lunch, green fee, use of a cart, one mulligan, an opportunity to win several “special feat” prizes and entry to the putting contest.
