The band Molly Hatchet performed last weekend at the Expo Center in Pikeville with two other bands, Kansas and Bad Company. The lead singer, Phil McCormack, is a longtime friend of mine, he and the drummer Shawn Beamer and Bobby Ingram. Wendy Ison and Megan Hardin were really glad to get their blue jeans autographed even though Wendy has known them as long as I have. It’s always good to see those guys even though I’m really not into the rock ‘n’ roll thing. They told us that Yamaha is getting ready to give a drum set to Shawn Beamer, who has played for the rock ‘n’ roller Jerry Lee Lewis. Sean was in his band at one time. It was good to see them. They were on their way to Las Vegas and then to Louisiana.

Sally Caudill is in Hazard Hospital again. Norma Roark has been in Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She is home now, somewhat better. Jason Wells got hurt on the job Friday. Remember all these people in your prayers.

Kim Akemon and her dad, James Stamper, went to Ohio this past weekend to see Kim’s grandma, Lillian Bush. She had been in the hospital. She needs your prayers.

I want to say hello to Sue Adams. Hey there!
