Grace Brown buried at Ermine



Grace Marie Tyree Brown, 86, died July 13 at her home at Dry Fork.

A daughter of the late William Curtis and Ollie McCray Tyree, she was the widow of Lloyd Brown.

She was the mother of the late Wade Anthony Brown, a grandmother of the late Lorie Beth Lee, and a sister of the late Amos Tyree.

She was a member of the Pine Mountain Settlement School Presbyterian Church, a former co-owner of Dry Fork Market, and the former postmistress at Crown.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Brown Lee and husband Lenville, and Nancy Ilene Banks and husband Dickie; a son, William Donald Brown and wife Charlotte; eight grandchildren, Deana Carol Wright and husband Doyle, Donna Lynn Williams, Robert Brown, Carrie Lee Hall and husband Todd, Christi Lee Peterson and husband Adam, William Morgan Banks, Bethany Cook and husband Bo, and Richard Kirk Banks; eight greatgrandchildren, Gracie Elizabeth, Lindsey Faith, Micah Lauren, Braylen Kysor, Clayton Reece, Houston Wade, Carter Devin and Lori Lee; and caregivers, Judy Maggard and Myra Eldridge.

Funeral services were held July 15 at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
