During the giving season of Christmas, there are young people who are to be admired.
Grayson Shamar ra Holbrook is one of these, writes one admirer She is the daughter of Martin and Sharon Holbrook. Her life has been an example.
From the age of six years old when she began writing books for other young people to read, she had a dream for a library for the Colson community. She wanted a room filled with books so others could read whenever they wanted to read.
As an adult, Grayson Holbrook helps with the introduction of the Tuesday morning Round Table, is a member of the Foster Care Review Board, helps with Sunday School for children at Forgiven Ministries Church at Whitesburg, and is a member of Agriculture Advancement Council, 4-H Council, Extension Service, She gives toboggans and gloves to preschool children, pajamas for foster children of Letcher County, and is Santa’s helper at the Colson Fire Department where she gives the children coloring books and crayons.
She is always looking and talking about how to help others.
Besides this, she finds time to attend Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College at Whitesburg. She plans to be a neonatal nurse.
Grayson Holbrook is a great example of what a great citizen and person should be.
