Gregory Sexton, 56, dies

Funeral services for Gregory Lee Sexton, 56, of Jenkins, will be held at 1 p.m., February 8, at Polly & Craft Funeral Home in Jenkins. Burial will follow in the Jenkins/Payne Gap Cemetery

A son of the late Leroy and Mary Helen York Sexton, he died February 4.

He was a brother of the late Charles E. “Bucky” Hipps.

Mr. Sexton was an avid university of Kentucky sports fan, and was a coalminer.

Surviving are two sisters, Felice Mullins and husband Elkie of Baltimore, Md., and LeeAnn Sexton and Phil Boggs of Jenkins; four nieces, Kim Mullins of Baltimore, Md., Vanessa Hines and husband Barry of Eaton, Oh., and Christine Boggs and Amanda Boggs, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; two nephews, Kevin Mullins of Baltimore, Md., and Johnathon Boggs of Knoxville, Tenn.; a great-niece, Heather Zomzow of Baltimore, Md.; five great-nephews, Mark, Patrick, Nick, A.J. and Noah; a great-great niece, Rilie; a great-great nephew, Ryland; and friends Kenner Jo Johnson, Jennifer Wright, Tana Bug, Darryl, Krystal, Paula Bernard and Lys.
