Funeral services for Gwendolyn “Tootsie” Potter, 69, of Cromona, were held July 8 at the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Potter family cemetery at Haymond.
A daughter of the late Dewey and Jettie Bryant Cable, she died July 5 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was the widow of Glen Potter, and a sister of the late Tommy Cable, Jack Cable, and Katherine Cable.
Surviving are a son, Tony Potter and wife Missy of Cromona; a daughter, Sabrina Fleming and husband Matthew of Neon; a brother, Billy Cable of Lorain, Oh.; two sisters, Arbutis Houston of Kemper and Bernice Smallwood of Dorton; and four grandchildren, Dustin Potter, Riley Fleming, Kenzie Fleming, and Harper Fleming.
