James Halcomb, 95, of Isom, died October 20 at the Hazard Hospice Care Center.
A son of the late Monroe and Nancy Halcomb, he was the widower of Nassaretta Dixon Halcomb.
Surviving are two sons, David L. Halcomb of Daniels Branch, and James M. Halcomb of Merimar, Fla.; a brother, Bud Halcomb of South Carolina; a sister, Sarah Spencer of Whitesburg; three grandchildren, Rebecca Adams, David Scott Halcomb and Patrick Lee Halcomb; and four great-grandchildren, Aaron Halcomb, Sarah Halcomb, Emma Halcomb and Raleigh Halcomb.
Funeral services were held October 23 at Little Colley Church. Burial was in Dixon Cemetery at Blackey.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
