James “Big Red” Wesley Hall, 79, of Neon, died February 5 at St. Joseph Select Specialty Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
Born in Hemphill to the late Mart and Nannie Hall, he was a brother of the late Rosella Johnson, William “Cookie” Hall, Ballard Hall, Gratz Hall and Jessie Hall.
He was the owner of Wesley Hall Trucking Company.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Hall of Neon; a son, Wesley “Buggy” Hall and companion Amanda Hall of Neon; a grandson, Ryan Michael Hall of Neon; a sister, Florence Stines of Neon; three brothers, Bernard Hall of Goose Creek, Connie Wayne Hall of Sergent, and Alfred Hall of Hemphill; and Sierra Hall and Austin “Hoss” Hall.
Funeral services were held on February 8 at Carty Funeral Home in Neon. Burial was in the Guy Holbrook Cemetery in Tolliver Town.
