Thursday our site manager Debbie Slone cooked us a wonderful dinner. Also, our own Jim Craft came around with treats for everyone. Thanks, Jim. You’re a good guy.
Friday all seven centers of Letcher County went to Kingscreek to a Halloween party. We had 35 senior citizens and four workers there. A lot of us dressed up. Coleene Hart from our center won the prize. She dressed in Hawaiian style, even a grass skirt. (Way to go, Coleene.)
We had lots of fun. Our young (97 years old) Ruby Caudill danced with Carl Parrott, but I missed getting her picture.
We had a very good lunch and everyone enjoyed it.
Now that it’s November I don’t know what we are planning on doing. Something, I hope. We’ll have something for Thanksgiving, I’m sure. Then, oh boy!, Christmas is next. Then it’s shopping, cooking, also some go on trips. And, oh yes!, decorating the house and Christmas trees.
We didn’t do much in October so my news is short.
God bless until next time.
