Hayden King, 87, died November 27 at his home in Lexington.
Born in Kite to the late Ray and Elizabeth Adams King, he was the widower of Sarah Katherine King to whom he was married for 46 years.
The father of the late Mark DeWayne Farris, he was retired as a machinist from Square D Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Irvin and husband Jimmy, and Da- Rae Marcum and husband Steven; three grandchildren, Alecia Ann Rolan and husband Brian, Sarah Halcomb and husband Hassell, and Mercedes Farris; three great-grandchildren, James Irvin Layton, Shaina Morgan Layton and Matt Goulden, and Zachary Thomas Clark; and two great-greatgrandchildren, Damian Alexander Goulden and Paislee Blaine Goulden.
Visitation was held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home at 3421 Harrodsburg Rd. in Lexington.
Funeral services for Mr. King were held November 29 at the funeral home. Burial was in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
