Hello everyone from all of us at the Ermine Center.
We were all very saddened by the loss of Barbara Hall. She was a sweet and dear lady to all of us. We will sure miss her. Keep her husband, James Hall, and family in your prayers.
Also keep Winston Sturgill’s family in your prayers. He will surely be missed. His brother, Winford Sturgill, is one of our seniors.
We would like to brag on one of our workers, Alice Bentley. She is a wonderful lady, always has a smile on her face. She loves to be with the seniors and is always ready to lend a helping hand with whatever they might need. Alice was invited to a Christmas dinner at Hazard last week. While at that dinner, she received an award for Title V Enrollee of the Year by the Kentucky River Area Development District Add AAAIL. She was picked from eight counties to win this award. Alice, we’re all very proud of you.
Thursday was a special day for all of us at the Ermine Center. Colson Head Start came for a visit and they sang Christmas songs for us. They did a wonderful job. Britney Bolling sang ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ all by herself. She did a wonderful job.
They even got to eat dinner with us. We had homemade soup, peanut butter sandwiches and fruit cocktails.
Thank you all so much for the beautiful songs, and come back anytime and visit with us.
We had a total of 78 people at our center Thursday. It was a wonderful day.
So until next time, be safe and God bless you and your family.
