The Senior Fellowship was last week was a blast. A great group of folks gathered for lively conversation and a traditional mountain meal. For starters there were ribs and potatoes, steamed vegetables, fresh green beans, fresh cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, and cornbread muffins with berry cobbler and apple pie with ice cream to finish it off. There is always great food and awesome company on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Friday Nite Pickin’ was a ruckus for sure. Will Caudill and Rt. 7 played a show to remember and we had visitors from far and wide. We had a missionary group from Maine that was such a pleasure to interact with. They added so much to our gathering and we are thankful to have crossed paths with them. Thanks to all who support live music and our efforts at the Center. We appreciate all you do.
Schedule of events:
Friday Nite Pickin’ Aug. 12, at 7:30 p.m., The Country Troubadours will join us for another fine evening of honky-tonk music with a sprinkle of other genres thrown in for a heaping portion of fun and dance. It’s the best of good clean fun.
