Hemphill to host Halloween party

Fleming-Neon Senior Citizens Center news

Oct. 22: KRADD Halloween Party, Hazard Armory.

Oct. 28: We will host the countywide senior Halloween party at our center.

Regular Bingo: Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Rook and checkers played daily.

Exercise equipment available daily.

The Fleming-Neon Senior Center is open from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. on weekdays. Lunch is served from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. For more information, call (606) 855- 7567.

There will be a Haunted House Oct. 21-24. It starts at dark and ends at 11 p.m., then again on Oct. 28-31, same times. Interested people who would like to participate be a part of the Haunted House may please contact Chad Tolliver on Facebook, or call 606-594- 8972. Admission for the Haunted House is $3.

Getting Started Workshop/ Beginners Jam will be held on Wed., Oct. 21, from 5-6 p.m. Come sing and play with us. For more information, call (606) 671- 7023.

Friday Nite Pickin’ Oct 23. at 7:30 p.m., Dawson Creek will return after a long sabbatical. We are really looking forward to hear their new ensemble and the new Dawson Creek. Love them, pure and simple.

Friday Nite Pickin’: Kids get in free when accompanied by an adult. Open mic at intermission. Target audience country, folk, bluegrass, Americana. Family friendly environment.
