Henry C. Hall, 92, died November 2 at his residence in Indiana.
Born in Letcher County, he was a son of the late Willard and Bertha Bentley Hall. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He retired from Western Electric after working there for 28 years. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo, singing, and listening to gospel music and hymns.
Mr. Hall was an avid sports fan and followed racing and all sports.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Shirley Lucas Hall; two daughters, Joni and Janet; his favorite granddaughter, Amanda; a sister, Mildred Burton; a brother, J.R. Hall; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Burial was at Hopewell Cemetery in Commiskey, Ind.
