High schoolers to use grant to read to MJP students


 

 

Letcher County Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) President Lindsay Baker and club members accept a $300 check from Upper Kentucky River Education Association Treasurer Harry Collins. FBLA members will use these grant funds awarded through the Kentucky Education Association Read Across America Grant competition to purchase materials to lead a high-energy, engaging morning of reading activities with the kindergarten and first-grade classes at Martha Jane Potter Elementary School.
