Cheerleaders for 1968
Allenda Long is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Long of Cromona. She is the captain of the cheerleaders this year and is a senior. After graduation she plans to attend East Tennessee State University and major in Home Economics. Her likes are Paul Gallion, dancing and cooking. Her dislikes are lazy people, students without school spirit, and milk.
Patty Slone is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slone of Kona. This is her first year as cheerleader. She is 15 and a sophomore. She likes boys and dislikes pizza.
Judy Little is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Little of Fleming. This is her first year as cheerleader. Before becoming a cheerleader she was a member of the band for four years. She is 16 and a senior. She plans to attend Eastern University after graduation. Her likes are pizza, Gary Collins, and football. Her dislikes are people who don’t have school spirit.
Debbie Presnell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lank Presnell of Cromona. She is 16 and a junior. She is also co-captain. This is her second year as cheerleader. Her likes are boys and having fun. Her dislikes are grouchy people, noisy kids and people who lack school spirit.
Linda Kay Lemaster is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindon C. Lemaster of Cromona. This is her first year as cheerleader. She is 15 and a sophomore. Her likes are football boys and cheerleading. Her dislikes are people who annoy her.

What two boys love to pester the girls in first period Driver’s Ed? Could it be Harp and Jimbo? What’s this we hear about Tim R. being tied down to a little girl from J.H.S.? Wonder how long it will last? Does everyone know that F.N.H.S. has a swinging quartet? Just ask Terry B., Tim R., Kris B., and Willie J.
We hear Joyce Brown and Dennis Brewer are finally engaged! Congratulations, kids. What’s this about Terry B. eating a salted magazine at a party? How about it, Terry? Congratulations to F.N. We must be the only school around to have a “FROG” for a Drum Majorette! What is the favorite dessert of our teachers? Would you believe “ rice pudding?” What two girls make it a habit to carry Peggy Q. into the hall during intermission between 2nd and 3rd period? Could S.J. and J. B. tell us?
