Holly Bates enjoying week at the beach

Lauren Adams of Jeremiah, had to be taken from Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. She had been keeping a high fever and they didn’t know what the problem was. In Hazard she was put into ICU and they found out she had an infection around her heart and it was touch and go for awhile; she was really sick. Lauren is the daughter of Leslie Gibson and Dustin Adams. Lauren’s grandmother, Sandy Adams, is also in the UK hospital where she has been for about two weeks. She had an aneurysm. Lauren’s grandpa, Courtney Adams of Blair Branch, is also down there; he had blockage to his heart. All our prayers are with all the family. They are going through a tough time right now. As of Saturday Lauren was doing better. They are running a lot of tests on her.
