Hot-dog sale is a success

We are proud to report our hot-dog sale went every well. We would like to thank Sheriff Danny Webb’s office, Judge Jim Ward’s office, Don Mc- Call, Sandy Hammock, the Senior Citizens office, and all the other people who came by and ate with us. We are glad we can contribute toward the goal Letcher County has set for Relay for Life. Nearly every family has been touched by cancer. This is a very good cause and every dollar counts.

Jim Craft finally got beat bowling on our Wii game.

Betty Pike bowled 269 and we had to comfort Jim for losing his championship.

Patty Majority has the cast off her wrist. We hope she will regain all the use of it. Our Letcher County cheerleaders are really working hard at practice. They will perform at the Senior Games at the Knott County Sports Complex. They are made up of seniors from all the Letcher County centers. We love to see the centers work together.
