Hunters’ class set

A free Kentucky Hunter Education course will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30, and from 9 a.m. to noon, Dec. 1, at the McRoberts Community Center. The class, sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, will include classroom instruction in hunter ethics, wildlife identification, outdoor survival, first aid, firearms, bow hunting, and ammunition. The last session will include range firing and an examination.

Those who have completed the classroom session by alternative methods should attend Dec. 1 for the test/range work and must bring a notarized affidavit.

Upon completion of the course, a graduate card will be issued which is valid in any state where such certification is required. Attendance at all sessions is required for certification. For more information, call Will Connelly at 633-5012 or 335-9437, or e-mail willconn@tvscable.com.
