Hutton rites held




Thomas “Lil Hut” Hutton Jr. died July 5. He was 26 years old.

Born in Wise, Va., he was a son of Sara Jackson Meadow of McRoberts, and Thomas Hutton Sr. of Fleming. He was a grandson of the late Henry Hutton and Ben and Jeanette Jackson, and an uncle of the late Marie Carter.

Hutton was a graduate of Fleming-Neon High School and attended Pikeville College where he played baseball. He worked for the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police, then for Mike Bates Masonry in Haymond.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his stepfather, Jerry Meadow, McRoberts; grandmothers, Elsie Hutton of Fleming, and Mildred Duncan of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Orlance Lamb and wife Shelly, McRoberts; a stepbrother, Aaron Meadow, Germany; three sisters, Enequita Hutton Carter and husband Tori, Bessemer, Ala.; Tomeika Osbourne and husband J.J., and Zohira Maggard and husband John, all of McRoberts; and nieces, Nia, Daisha, Kyra and Aryana, all of McRoberts.

Funeral services were held July 12 at the McRoberts Church of God. Burial was in the Tom Biggs Cemetery at McRoberts.

Everidge Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
