First I will straighten up some of last week’s mistakes.
Ida Adams, not Ila Adams, was recently hospitalized with pneumonia. Sorry that I changed Chettie Smith into a Caudill, and I thank the state and county workers for a job well done in clearing our roadways during all this snow.
Debbie Adams says her mother, Irene Jent, is doing better and appreciates all the cards and prayers that have been sent. She hopes to get out of rehab soon.
Debbie and Buck are proud of their daughter, Emily, for making the Dean’s List for her first semester at Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis.
Glad to hear that Ronnie G. Back did well after his shoulder surgery last week, and didn’t have to stay but a couple of days in the hospital. He is sore, but recuperating at home now.
Bill and Joyce Adams had most of their family in for a birthday dinner with cake and ice cream on Sunday evening. They had several family members who recently had birthdays, so they celebrated together.
Condolences to the family of Ella Mae Wagner Smith of Blackey, who died this past week. Her funeral was held Sunday, and she was laid to rest at Carcassonne.
Our sympathies to her husband, children, and the entire family.
Just a few corrections and a brief column this week. Looks good to see sunshine as I write this.
