Funeral services for Iris Sue Fleming, 65, of Pekin, Ind., were held June 24. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Pekin, Ind.
Born in Jackhorn to the late Hassel and Hattie Slone Johnson, she died June 21 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Ind.
She was a sister of the late Michael Johnson.
She was a retired physical therapy assistant and had worked at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Pekin
Church of Christ, a former member of the Sweet Adelines, and worked at the SAG Stop for the Pekin Safari Bike Ride.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Fleming; two sons, Aaron Fleming of Pekin, Ind., and Ashley Ryan Fleming of Sellersburg, Ind.; three daughters: Lori Soydemir and Tylene Jarrells, both of Pekin, Ind., and Carol Wainscott of Salem; a brother Johnny Johnson of Jackhorn; and 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
