Hello everyone! Hoping all had a good and safe Memorial Weekend.
I got mixed up and thought it was next weekend. Oh well, memory goes with age.
Lots of reunions going on. Talked to Roy Wayne Fields Jr. and they had their reunion at the Kingscreek Park last weekend. Hopefully they had a good turnout. He is a grandson of the late Roy and Vendetta Fields.
Birthdays this week are:
Tommy Bockover turned 48 on May 28. He is a son of Shelby Bockover and the late Bobby Bockover of Greensburg, Ind. Happy birthday to him. Joe Lee Maggard turns 52 on May 29. Georgette and Harry Sims’s granddaughter will be 11 years old on June 2. They live in Danville, and her name is Madison.
My uncle and aunt, Isom and Darlene Fields of Morristown, Tenn., will be married 50 years on June 1. Happy anniversary to them. Their children hosted a get-together for them. I was unable to attend because our oldest granddaughter, Ashley Renee Fields, was graduating in Indiana that day. I’m sure they had a good time. They are the parents of Bill, Elisa, Edana, Jeff and Elena.
Also, happy anniversary to LeRoy and Joann Fields on June 3. Enjoy your day.
Irene Day fell at the cemetery and hurt her neck. Keep her in prayer.
Congratulations to Tonya Fields, a daughter of Wayne and Missy Fields; to Hannah Maggard, daughter of Darlene and Allen Maggard; to TaShauna Maggard, daughter of Joe Maggard; and my granddaughter, Ashley Fields, on their graduation from high school.
Now they can go forward and follow their dreams. Proud of all of you. A big step for you.
Guess kids are glad to be out for summer break. We wish all of them a safe and happy summer.
Well, I am going for now. Be good to each other. Until next time, keep smiling.
