J.T. Caudill celebrates birthday

Arminta Ison Jenkins called Linda Combs and said all her family are doing okay. Her granddaughter Cassidy is attending Southern Methodist University in Texas. She is planning to make a doctor.

Jessica Boggs is attending graduate school in Johnson City, Tenn. She was home for a visit recently.

Happy birthday to Kitty Back of Ulvah, and to Imogene Atkins in early February.

January birthdays were Danola Adkins Anderson on the 20th, and David Combs on the 30th.

Get well wishes to Lois Brown Sturgill, daughter of the late George and Siller Brown. She has been in the hospital with shortness of breath. She is the aunt of Linda, Yvonne, Ronnie and Richard Brown and Patsy Nantz.

J.T. Caudill celebrated his birthday Thursday with a delicious supper prepared by his wife Carol. Also enjoying the occasion were Virginia Brown, John and Barbara Banks, Anna and Duane Yonts, Linda Lucas, and Doris Banks. J.T. and Carol are good neighbors and we are so glad to have them back on Cowan.

Thanks to the nice weather, we had a good attendance at church. Earl and Juanita were able to come, and Nettie and Orville. Cowan

Robert and Sherry Brown, Bradley and Joseph also came from Tennessee. They brought a chicken dinner to Virginia’s. J.T. and Carol also joined us. Sherry had pictures of an igloo Robert and the boys had made. It was big enough for them both to get in, and looked like it could have been built by real Eskimos.

Faye Banks is still not feeling well after her surgery.
