Larry Fields, son of Loreva Fields, fell on the ice in Indiana last week and broke his foot. He had to have surgery on it. Hope he’s doing OK.
Lorene Dollarhide fell and broke her hip. Sorry to hear about that, Lorene. Hope you are feeling better.
Kathy and Eddie Wolfe are both doing better. Thanks for your prayers!
My husband, James, and two of my granddaughters, Ashley and Rebecca, came home with me from Indiana on Friday. They will stay until after Christmas. I will be picking up their sister, Michaela, on Dec. 26, so they can spend some time together before going back to school. I’m sure glad to have them for awhile.
On Friday, Dec. 19, the guys in the automatics department at Delta Faucet in Greensburg, Ind., gave my husband a beautiful University of Kentucky watch, a nice plaque of appreciation and a farewell dinner for his retirement. He has to go back in February and work one day, and then he will be officially retired. Right now he will be enjoying six weeks of vacation. Must be nice. He has been there almost 40 years.
Well, all have a merry Christmas and be good to everyone and go to the church of your choice, and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.
Until next time.
