Janice Miller Kea, 75, died September 15 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, N.C.
Born in Jenkins, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Margie Ball Miller. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Hayes, and four brothers, James Miller, John Miller, Jerry Miller and Jack Miller.
Mrs. Kea was a graduate of Jenkins High School and was a member of Bennettsville First United Methodist Church. She was a retired medical clerk.
Sur viving are her husband, Tracy Kea, Jr.; a daughter, Mandy Kea and husband Donnie of Andrews, S.C.; three sisters, Joan Narramore and husband Bob of Jenkins, Juanita Jo Ruth and husband Rodney of Elkhorn, and Judy Marshall of Loveland, Ohio; two grandchildren, Trey and Jaden; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Bennettsville, S.C., and at 1 p.m., September 21 at Burdine Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Miller family cemetery.
