Jared Fogle, who is also known as the “Subway Guy,” will be in Letcher County next week for the grand opening of a new Subway restaurant in Isom.
The new restaurant is located in the Isom Plaza shopping center. The grand opening will be held on Monday, April 26, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The new store will open for business at 7 a.m. on the same day.
Fogle, 32, lost a significant amount of weight after going on the “Subway diet” in the late 1990’s, and became a star after the restaurant chain began featuring him in its television commercials in 2000.
