Jenkins sets ballgames

The Jenkins Middle School vs. Martha Jane Potter boys basketball game originally scheduled for last night (Tuesday) has been rescheduled for next Wednesday (Jan. 19).

At press time, the Jenkins High School girls basketball teams were still scheduled to travel to Leslie County to play tonight (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday night, the Jenkins High School boys teams are scheduled to play at Letcher County Central High School, with the Bteam game beginning at 6.

The boys teams are scheduled to host Jackson High School on Friday night (games beginning at 6), while the JHS girls teams will travel to Knott County Central High School in Hindman, where the games also begin at 6 p.m.

The JHS girls team will return to Knott County on Saturday afternoon for a game at Cordia High School that begins at 2:30.
