Jenkins store is state’s first to convert over to Walgreen’s

A former Rite Aid store in Jenkins is the first in Kentucky to change over to a Walgreens this year.

The Jenkins store is one of approximately 1,300 Walgreens-owned Rite Aid stores that will convert to the Walgreens brand over the next 12 months.

Similar conversions will occur at the Rite Aid stores in Whitesburg and Cumberland during 2019.

This new Walgreens location at Jenkins offers local customers a wide range of new products and services, including FedEx shipping and pickup services, available in store.

Conversion will roll out in phases over time and across the network of Walgreens-owned Rite Aid stores.
